Kungurskaya forest-and-steppe region is the biggest
feather-grass region in Eurasia; it is about 12 thousand square kilometers. You only need
to go to the north, following the way of Sibirskiy highway and you'll see the taiga. This
phenomenon was called the botanical phenomenon of Preduraliye. Kungurskaya
forest-and-steppe region was found and described in the end of the 19th century
by famous scientists S. I. Korzhinskiy and P. N. Krylov.
